If you love yourself some Playstation action, reports are filling the interwebs that the PSN Store is back and running. Go download your Welcome Back package already (It’s not available yet, don’t panic.) [Kotaku]

Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 8:13 PMWhoever designed the PlayStation store interface on the PS3 should be shot. Seriously how hard it is to build an intuitive useful product catalogue of some value to the user base. Seriously i could name about 10 UI design flaws off the top of my head.

Friday, June 3, 2011 at 12:32 AMBrad, I think that’s sad. And I’m not trying to rhyme. PS was a victim. They were a secure network until they were the target of criminals who were upset because they couldn’t do illegal things with their hardware. Seeing what these people were capable of, I’d say Sony was in the right. Out of everyone, Sony was the largest victim. I notice you didn’t jump ship and move to another country when terrorists made it past this country’s government and authorities. The government is just as responsible for our safety as Sony was with our accounts. Unfortunately, you can never stay completely ahead of criminals because you can’t read minds.
You would support the victims of any other crimes or hardships (natural disasters). The same should really be done for Sony. They have provided elite products and services for a long time. Their PR was worked in a way to cover damage control so everyone wouldn’t completely flip out and they lost too much of their consumer base to bounce back. Had (or even if) that happens then these intelligent whiny hackers would ultimately win.
