Panasonic Creates ‘Portable’ 45 Square Metre LED Screen For Sydney Stadiums

Gizmodo AU

Big sporting screens are nothing new, but Panasonic’s latest big-screen behemoth has something els going for it – the screen can be dismantled and moved between the Sydney Football Stadium and the adjacent Sydney Cricket Ground.

Standing 5.12 metres high and measuring 8.7 metres long, the screen offers 281 trillion colours and a 7,680 hertz refresh rate for sports fans entering either stadium.

Just putting it out there, but if anyone at the SFS/SCG wants to dismantle the screen and send it to my place for some epic gaming adventures, I’m more than up for it…

    So… 48 bit colour then?

Is 7,680 Hz really true? Seems a bit excessive.

7,680 Hz is clearly a typo. 76, 80 Hz would be realistic.
