Called the Ecco Camper, this concept fills up with electricity and skirts occupants off on what appears to be a luxurious, albeit slightly cramped jaunt across desert locales, the beach and what looks like salt flats.

Monday, June 27, 2011 at 3:47 PMDitto. The tracks I drive on, this thing could only fall down. I’d hate to drive it through a river, too… although if it was waterproof, it’d be cool to see fishies through the doors.

Monday, June 27, 2011 at 3:14 PMYeah… without any ground clearance AT ALL that thing will be useless except for roads- It could just manage speed humps but not accidentally going over curbs or anything. You couldn’t even get it TO the salt flats or a beach without helicopter transport… which would sort of radically reverse any emissions savings way up into the red zone.
I mean, it has gigantic wheels at the front that’re incorporated into the body, the fact that they recessed and integral completely negates all the advantages of having big wheels in the first place.

I didn’t know you could get published for it.
