Incredible Drawings Of Imaginary Doomsday Weapons

Incredible Drawings Of Imaginary Doomsday Weapons

Justin Amrhein is an artist, not a maniacal engineer or Bond villain. But he’s still got a pretty great fixation on fantastical destruction, as evidence by his new series “Weapons of Mass Destruction” series. We’re glad these things don’t exist.

The loopy blueprints seem like they could have come from the hand of a crazed 3rd grader, but the scale and precision of the sketches is brilliant: dizzying arrays of cones, fins, tubes and rockets. Someone make sure this man remains and artist without any technical training, or else I fear our planet may be in great peril. [via Michael Rosenthal Gallery]
