iCloud Provides Time Warp Loophole To Re-Download Banned Apps

If you downloaded a wonderful app that somehow ran afoul of Apple’s (at times) inscrutable approval policies ex post facto, iCloud is gonna make it rain. The service, CDFXApps reports, will let you recover them despite the expulsion. Thanks, oversight!

This could be potentially great – and we hope Apple doesn’t change it. Remember when Camera+ was banned, back before Apple realised its hardware shutter was a great idea and incorporated the same thing itself? You’d be able to download it in its great original form, provided you’d downloaded it before it’d been yanked. So, the lesson here? Download things quickly if you’re worried they might get pulled – iCloud should have your back, for the time being. [via CDFXApps]
