I love recycling. I mean, it’s the duty of every responsible citizen of Earth to leave your recyclables on the corner every Monday and Friday for the Recycling Fairy. She takes it away and turns it into fun, new – wait. Are we sure that’s right?
So it turns out that recycling actually involves a super-complicated machinery and several purification steps to isolate the PET plastic and get it ready to be remade into whatever the hell is made out of recycled plastic. [Make]

I don’t throw them but I just put them on an empty box. After that I go to the nearest junk shop and sell it to them. I saved Mother Earth and earn money to help me the cost of papers.

It takes twice as much energy and resources to recycle a plastic bottle to get it back up to a usable state than it does to just make a new one.
