Dig This provides the opportunity drive one of five heavy duty earth-movers, including a pair of Caterpillar D5 track-type bulldozers and three Caterpillar 315CL hydraulic excavators. For $US400, anyone over the age of 14 can rent these beasts for a three-hour trench-digging, dirt-piling joyride around the Dig This lot (after a thorough 30 minute safety briefing of course). Monday, June 20, 2011 at 9:51 AMThere’s not much manual labour involved in sitting in a chair moving a few levers.
I think this is a great idea for an attraction in Vegas, though $400 seems a bit steep. For comparison, $200 will get you driving a Lambo or Ferrari around a track at the LV Speedway.

They’re fun to play with, but at $400 a pop I think it’s more proof that my brother in law needs to stop digging and grading roads with his machinery and attract some tourists instead.
