Get A Month’s Free Foxtel On Xbox Trial

Gizmodo AU

Not sure how we missed this, but in conjunction with the partnership with BigPond to offer unmetered Foxtel on Xbox downloads, Xbox 360 owners can now get a free one month trial of the service, plus a month free Xbox Live Gold. Well worth it if you’re able to get it. [Foxtel - Thanks Alan!]

Ha, so they can set you on an auto renew monthly plan. The first month is free, but they probably charge without asking if you go over that

How much data would this likely use up on average?

On one of the Foxtel FAQ’s on their website, it said approx 800mb per hour at the highest bitrate.

to be a bit more specific, this was lifted from this page: http://www.foxtel.com.au/xbox/faqs/default.htm#faq010

The approximate data usage used when viewing one hour of Live TV is:
      High Quality: 800MB
      Medium Quality: 540MB
      Low Quality: 360MB
