Come Sunday June 26, Telstra T-Box customers using BigPond cable will get a nice little addition to the content lineup, with Foxtel’s IPTV service set to launch on the device.
Starting at $19.50 a month without lock in contracts, the service is pretty much the same as the Foxtel on Xbox service, with additional channel packages available for movie and sports fans.
The service is unmetered, and will come to ADSL customers in a few months.

Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:15 AMi am currently on an ADSL trial of the service, and i can tell you it aint to bad – a few issues here and there with the streaming (1-5 second delay sometimes) but nothing to bad :)

Monday, June 20, 2011 at 4:34 PM…. foxtel is making ipad apps as we speak, they want the viewers to be able to control the tv schedule(make it a remote) on their ipad, and when they feel like going to bed take their ipad with them and view their foxtel content on it via airplay/wifi, its been in development for a few months now ;)
