Side-note: I had no idea this old nursery rhyme was so flippin’ dark.

Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:21 PMAll the old European kids stories are dark – I mean hell, the little mermaid ends with her bleeding to death from her chopped in half legs and dissolving into seafoam. You just have to remember that the cultures that bring you games like Penumbra etc now were the ones writing fairy stories back in the day.
That said, Arhus is a generally hipster place…so this fits right in there. It’s sort of Denmark’s equivalent of Newtown?
