Cover Your iPhone 4 In Pressed Titanium

Snow Peak has crafted a beautiful cover for the iPhone 4 made of pressed titanium. The cover slides on the back and is designed to protect the glassy exterior from scratches, dents and dings.

The cover has a minimalist design and, because its made of titanium, it only adds a mere 17g to the weight of your iPhone. Before you shell out the $US120, be aware the cover has one major flaw. Titanium is known to degrade cellular signals. Wi-Fi should work, but forget about making or receiving a phone call. It’s your choice, do you prefer form or functionality? [Snow Peak via Oh Gizmo]

This prolly the biggest fail at a case I have seen:
    1. Top description says “Titanium is not known to inhibit reception or wifi connection speeds”
Yet in small print says “This product is made of metal that may degrade performance of radio transceiver.”
    So what do you believe?
    2. Its hardly minimalist with their branding all over it.
    3. $119.95 is way to much for any case.
    4. It only covers and does not protect, it may also scratch the iPhone, so it does more harm than good.
    So basically don’t want!

Wow, such negative comments, and this is the only iphone case I’ve ever thought didn’t look like crap!

I must be on the opposite wavelength to everyone (would explain a lot!)

And then you need a cover to protect this cover which is protecting the phone from scratches.
