The Colorfly is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. The media player includes the CIRRUS Logic CS4398 DAC and CS8422 SRC chips which will give the player a crisp clear sound (108dB signal-to-noise ratio) that is close to real-life (120dB dynamic range). Sound volume wont be a problem either as the player outputs at an impressive 13.3mW which should power most high-end cans. Other niceties include an SPDIF port, microSD slot and headphone jacks in both 6.3mm or 3.5mm sizes.
The Colorfly player is in league of it own for design, quality and, unfortunately, price. Colorfly does not list the MSRP, but the Pocket HiFi C4 Pro is available from Amazon’s marketplace for a whopping $US799. [Colorfly viaWiredand Oh Gizmo]
