The company is expected to introduce the latest version of OS X, iOS 5 and a new iCloud service at WWDC next week. OS X Lion is no secret. The desktop software is available as a closed beta and details have been unveiled both by Apple and loose-lipped developers. If this competitive pricing rumour pans ut, Apple could release Lion for $US30 or less. This low pricing is not unusual. Back in 2009, Apple released the Snow Leopard upgrade for $US30. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:03 PMhow recent is ‘recent’? I got the latest MBP refresh back in March and really don’t want to shell out for Lion (although a $30 price point would defs make me considering buying it anyway on day 1)
