Toshy has always been about the notebook, even when it gets so big that it doesn’t really fall into the portable category anymore. But its first desktop all-in-one machine is attractive enough to make us wonder why the company has waited this long to jump into the desktop space.
With a Full HD 21.5-inch screen, built-in DVD player and integrated HD tuner, there’s definitely an emphasis on entertainment with the Toshiba DX1210. It comes with integrated Onkyo speakers and an HDMI input, so you can use the screen as a screen for things like your games console.
There are six USB ports, with two being USB 3.0, while face recognition software works through the webcam to eradicate the need to login with passwords.
The All in one will come in either Core i5 or Core i7 flavours with 6GB RAM and 1TB HDD, with a starting price of $1,665 $1,899. It comes in black and white, although white is exclusive to Harvey Norman.
