Thin Screens, Thin Bezels: LG’s New Blade Laptops Trim The Fat

Here’s why you should care about LG’s new Blade series of laptops: Not only do their Shuriken displays get as slim as 4.5mm, but the bezels are so minimal that they can fit a 14-inch screen in the same footprint as a laptop with a standard 13.3-inch display.

Besides that, little has been revealed about the P430 and P530 models except for a few standard features: aluminium body, second-gen Core i7 processor, sub-2.3kg weight and NVIDIA GeForce GT520M graphics. And they’ll begin shipping virtually everywhere except North America beginning this month. [Engadget]
