The Internet Is A Gateway To Prescription Drug Abuse

Watch out. A new study says your high-speed internet connection may lead you down the path of prescription drug abuse.

Researchers from Mass General and USC claim to have found a link between prescription drug abuse and high-speed internet connectivity. Whenever high-speed internet coverage came to a new community, the number of prescription drug abusers went up. It’s only a correlation, but the researchers claim they ruled out other factors like age and economic standing.

Researchers theorise a high-speed internet connection makes it easy for people to find illegal online pharmacies. These rogue drug stores let people buy drugs from the comfort of their homes. No prescription is required. All someone has to do is click on a link in any email with the header V1agra. [LiveScience]

So those morons are the reason we all get spam?
That’s a worse crime than their stupid self harm drug abuse. If no one ever actually visited those sites linked in spam e-mails for viagra, cials and all the rest then spam would eventually cease since there’d be no point…

But there is always SOME cretin somewhere…
