Given that the ABC’s mantra is to spread its content far and wide, it’s no surprise that Panasonic today has announced that its Smart Viera online content hub will offer ABC’s iView service.
ABC iView joins Yahoo!7 on Panasonic’s online platform for local content, with Panasonic’s Paul Reid promising more local content partnerships to be announced soon.
Panasonic has also developed an SDK to allow developers to create applications for the Smart Viera platform, from games to weather to Facebook.

Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 6:38 PMI don’t think so ! If not I would have got a Sony but after comparing the Contrast Ratio 5,000,000 : 1 – no Sony or Samsung comes even close to the Panasonic HD Plasma 1080 TVs !
