A site that’s made a name for itself as a leaker of legitimate Apple prototypes and near-complete devices has done it again, leaking an iPhone 5 case that shows a bigger screen and a different flash location.
The leak, which appears to be a mock-up wrapped around a mocked-up iPhone “5,” arrives courtesy alibaba.com, and should be treated as the largely speculative, unconfirmed mockup that it is.
Nevertheless, it does fall in line with other rumours we’ve heard about the device so far this year. rumours added to other rumours make fact, right? [MacNN via AppleInsider]

Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2:32 PMI fear for the idea of edge-to-edge screen. If any slight wrapping of the fingers touches the usable surface it will be a nightmare – Just like the STUPID capacitive buttons on the front of my HTC Mozart – I mean who seriously thought that was a good idea?

Monday, May 16, 2011 at 5:43 PMBecause 16:9 ratio is a good thing? It should be slimmer, not fatter. Too bad this isn’t really possible if you need a bezel for microphone/speaker/button/cover the screen from accidental handling etc.
