In China, Watch Out For Exploding Watermelons

Gizmodo AU

In what is potentially the best fruit-related story of the year, Chinese watermelons are exploding without the help of ninjas or slingshots.

The watermelons have reportedly been subjected to excessive amounts of chemicals in a bid to boost the fruits’ growth, but instead has resulted in fields of watermelons exploding. I wonder if they make a lot of noise as they blow up?
