Here’s More Proof That Navy SEALs Are Unbelievable Supermen

If the perfectly executed killing of Osama bin Laden didn’t convince you that SEALs are walking nuclear bombs with bear claws and the tail of a velociraptor, consider the above photo.

We don’t know what the hell kind of bullety beam of death he was shooting (anyone know?), or what the advanced night targeting system he’s using was, but—just, come on, look at that. [via Slate]

    Hey,

    It’s a 12.7mm M2 Machine Gun with a Quick Change Barrel – More commonly known as a .50 Cal.

Each round is obviously 12.7mm thick.

The ‘Beam’ you say is actually called trace.

One in five rounds have a magnesium tip dyed red.

They use it as a sighting tool.

The spray at the end is the round ricochet so the round hitting its target, generally a solid object and breaking up and spraying in all directions.

The sight looks like a night vision or thermal.

It’s just a tracing bullet photographed with a long exposure if I am not mistaken.

“perfectly executed killing of Osama bin Laden”

Not to be overly PC, but that’s a poor way to start an article on such a reputable website.

“If the perfectly executed killing of Osama bin Laden didn’t convince you that SEALs are walking nuclear bombs”

Oh really? I don’t mean to sound like a conspiracist, but common logic just begs the question – what tells you it was perfectly executed?
In what universe did you witness the killing of osama bin laden? Because i’m pretty sure they’re successfully managed to hide all evidence of his death from the public or any media for that matter.

The death of osama bin laden has just as much credibility as the holy bible in my eyes – “Witnessed” by a select few, and told to future generations.

I’m assuming the moment america was told that the navy seals were responsible for his death, immediate thoughts of “call of duty” popped up in many people’s minds, leaving this “impression” that they are the badass heroes you see in video games.

You bet it was perfect execution. The downing and destruction of one of their own helicopters was 100% planned from the beginning.

While you’re at it Daniel, don’t forget to remind us that they never went to the moon either (the flag flapping in the ‘wind’ – shock, horror!). Do you also subscribe to the ‘CIA blew up the Twin Towers’ theory?

Hey, I found a martian growing weed in my back yard the other day, I have no photographic or video evidence, but rest assured I killed it and buried it out in the Pacific Ocean.

      Sounds legit, right…?

Good point, I don’t think you can call it a perfect operation when one of the helicopters breaks down and has to get stripped and burned out mid evac and unarmed civilians (whether or not they put themselves intentionally, that one will be debated from now till forever) didn’t get shot.

Not to mention the mission was originally to capture him and circumstances ended up with him getting shot.

If we had a perfect operation they would have caught him alive and evaced safely with no rounds fired.

Not diminishing the work these soldiers did for their country, but lets be honest, given everything that went wrong they’re lucky things went as well as they did.

Perfectly executed? There was a helicopter crash right? Not the SEALS directly at fault there, but come on
