Gmail Now Gives You Up To 25,000 Contacts

Gizmodo AU

Who the hell has 25,000 contacts? That’s the biggest question following Google’s announcement that it has upgraded the number of contacts Gmail users can have from 10,000 to 25,000.

If that’s not enough, it’s also increased the possible size of each contact file from 32KB to 128KB.

That’s a hell of a lot of contacts, no matter which way you look at it. Anyone think they can come close to maxing it out?

I might be able to make a 1000 imaginary friends to stack the numbers, but I doubt they’d be very talkative. :-D

Oooh goodie! I can’t wait to import my company’s GAL into my Gmail account.

Seriously? Google’s done nothing to improve Exchange PST import-ability (without using dumbass Outlook plugins) but they’ll now give me over 3GB for just my contact data?

    Priorities, Google. Priorities.

I have customer with 16000 contacts. That’s the biggest I’ve seen, and it’s a stupid amount.
