Folding Your Laptop In Half Is Passe; Fold This Thing In Quarters

Look, this Fujitsu hybrid notebook/tablet is years and years away from existing. And by then, will we use the notebook form factor at all? Who knows, but I love this flexible, folding screen, which avoids a distracting middle hinge.

If a laser-projected keyboard technology is ever perfected, the need for an actual trackpad and keyboard largely goes out the window. But being able to fold a tablet in half without resorting to dual-screens would not only halve its footprint, but protect that precious display as well.

I do, however, have one complaint: nobody wants a 21:9 tablet. That’s just obnoxious. [DesignBoom]
