Breakfast Is Most Delicious At 1000fps

It’s getting to the point where I’m not sure there’s anything not improved by slow motion. Even one of the most lavish—and most brutally upended—breakfast spreads I’ve ever seen. Will nobody think of the bacon?

Filmed at 1000fps on a Phantom HD Gold camera, “Breakfast Interrupted” is a joy for eyeballs and bellies alike. Even better: the boys at Bruton Stroube Studios even put together a making of-video, for those interested in how the (slow-motion flying) sausage is made:

More of these, please! You’ve got at least three more courses counting brunch, and I’m dying to see what you can do with a Honeybaked Ham. [BSS via likecool]

    I want my phone to shoot 1080P @ 1000fps!
    My guesstimate is 2015 ;-)

In 2015 the government will be recording everything for you, so you won’t even need a camera phone.

You should watch paint dry at 1000fps Brian then see how you feel.

My video camera does 120 frames per second for 3 seconds (turns it in to 12 seconds of footage).

It is incredible, I love it. As the author suggests, everything is better in slow motion.
