CNET is reporting that a third attack is planned against the PlayStation Network this weekend. And this time, the hackers are threatening to publicise the information they obtain – usernames, passwords, even credit card information.
In an official-as-it-gets-for-a-decentralised-mischief-making-collective statement, ‘Anonymous’ denied it had anything to do with the original attacks, but neither the hackers nor Sony have yet to comment on this latest development. [CNET]
