So anyway, the Vatican says the Internet is creating more Satanists than ever because it makes information so damn accessible or something, and the whole thing inspired me to write a new headline for the Telegraph piece where I learned of this terrifying phenomenon:
“Organisation responsible for spreading the word about an invisible man in the sky and something called The End of Days claims the Internet, a real thing that exists presumably because of that man in the sky, is responsible for making more people believe in an evil, invisible man in a fiery realm below the ground.
I really have no clue why an organised religion would want to criticise something that makes information more freely available to the masses. No clue whatsoever.
That said, in hindsight my attempt was, admittedly, kind of long. You try! [Telegraph, Photo: Simon Norfolk]

Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11:55 AMShould be: “Gizmodo sensationalises news again….. Readers get bored”
I imagine that someone at the conference asked: “Why has there been an upsurge in satanist belief?”. And the answer would have been “One fat or is mass information access.”
I imagine it would be the same answer given by the police regarding crime rings and child pornography.
Te Church is just reacting the exact same way as the police would: analyzing from experience the issues and commenting on them. If you remember it was only a few months ago I’m sure that Gawker had an article on the positive comments from the church regarding social media and networks…..

Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1:53 PMI’d like to see them learn of the LaVeyan teachings from the church of Satan and see them try to criticize the name of Satanism, though I guess it’s a vain effort expecting people in the Vatican to be open minded to other beliefs..
Watch out world. LaVeyan satanists roaming the world spreading respect and enjoying their lives! Lock up your children!

Monday, April 4, 2011 at 2:58 PMI think the Catholic church is doing a pretty good job on it’s own creating satanists.
“I really have no clue why an organised religion would want to criticise something that makes information more freely available to the masses”. Um, I’m pretty sure that freedom of information and education are feared by religions in general as it dilutes the ability to control people through fear.

Monday, April 4, 2011 at 9:52 PMhaha.. idiots. its their way to try and keep everyone in the dark ages. mmmm, lets stop information flow and burn who ever knows anything about reality and science and call them witches. if it was up to the vatican the earth would still be flat and they would be the center of the universe. And further more they would have murdered all scientist and brilliant minds in an attempt to promote ignorance.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 12:01 AMdont dis it as complete hodgepodge. it is actually kinda true.
the internet is an amazing tool that has made information on everything much more accesible. the good (yay! wikipedia) and (depending on ur views) evil (anarchists cookbook lol)
it has also allowed us to connect with anyone from almost anywhere in the world, and talk to them instantaniously. this means we can make friends we never would have made otherwise. it also means pedos can find each other more easily (and lurk around 4chan looking for dibious material). and yes, satanists can find each other more easily, and convert other ppl that would have never chanced upon them if the internet wasnt around.
in everything that is used by humans there is good and evil (yadayada, ying yang etc). the internet has made everything easier. good, and evil.
the catholic church, as usual has grabbed the evil and made a fire and brimstone sermon about it

Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 7:27 AMThis is a redundant article about a redundant comment. Of course the Internet has made Satanism more accessible, everything is now more accessible. That’s the name of the game.
