JB HiFi Has 10% Off Apple Macs

Gizmodo AU

It’s rare to find big sales on Apple products unless a product is reaching the end of its annual renewal cycle. Which is what makes the fact JB HiFi are offering 10% off all Apple Mac products at the moment so interesting, because it includes the recently updated MacBook Pro lineup.

The sale is on until Sunday, and includes pretty much any Mac you can think of, but doesn’t include iPads. Although the chances of you actually finding an iPad before the sale ends is pretty narrow. It also doesn’t look like it includes the Mac Mini or the Mac Pro, but that could just because JB doesn’t list them online.

With Mac prices ranging up to $2,900, the savings can reach as high as almost $300, so it’s definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for a new Mac.

Saving $300 on $2900 means that you’re only paying $900 more than you should be. It’s great to be ripped off to a slightly lesser degree.

    JB are offering the 15″ i7 with a 750gb HDD @ 7200rpm which apple doesn’t.

    I’m guessing typo.

just a heads up – david jones in chadstone has ALWAYS matched the student pricing on apple products. I think this is roughly 10%…

I have bought a couple of macbooks from here and each time they gave me the discount.

Its worth noting that all of the Apple Stores actually price match, there should be no reason to actually buy a mac at JB Hifi… take my advice, go to an Apple Store, get the good knowledge and service and take advantage of the price matching… you cannot get One to One from JB either… and they do not work on commission so they wont EVER oversell you.
