Instructables Bacon Challenge: Everybody But Your Arteries Wins

We post a lot of Instructables DIY projects around these parts, along with a surprising amount of bacon. So when those two forces of good deliciously co-mingle, we feel duty-bound to keep you in the loop.

Friends, until May 8, Instructables is running the Bacon Challenge. And just what, pray tell, is that?

The Bacon Challenge is simple: make something amazing that involves bacon. We know, bacon is already pretty amazing on its own—therein lies the challenge! Dress it up, build with it, get creative with your porcine bounty. The challenge is to make something both original and bacon-related. If it’s about bacon, it’s eligible.

The contest started on April 11, so you’ve given up a little ground to people who were there at the green flag. But winners get an iPad 2 or an All-Clad skillet, so there’s motivation enough to get moving. Although honestly, as with all things bacon, the sizzle is its own reward.
