we should also stop the research into solar electricity/bio electricity for cars – as it will put thousands of people out of a job in the petrol industry! Move forward Jesse, major industries will simply reshuffle in time, or do you have no faith in the average american to be innovative enough to make a living – should we protect non-sustainable industries simply so we can spoon feed people employment?

Am I the only one who thinks of the Chewbacca Defence here?

“This is Steve Jobs. He wears a long-sleeved turtleneck, but he lives in California.
Think about that. That does NOT MAKE SENSE!
Why would a man who wears long sleeves all the time live in a sunshiney state?
    It does NOT MAKE SENSE!”
