Xperia Arc Landing On Optus And VHA In April, Moto Defy Coming To Optus

A couple of Android bits and pieces for your Tuesday afternoon: The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, the stunningly designed Gingerbread smartphone that was unveiled at CES, has officially been announced for both Vodafone and Optus in April.

There’s not a lot of info beyond the vague April release date. Unlike the Optus release of the Motorola Defy, which launched on March 1 for $0 up front on a $49 cap plan over 24 months. While there’s not a lot of difference between the Optus and Telstra versions of the Defy (aside from the 900MHz band support as opposed to 850MHz), there is a new black and white design for the Optus version.
