The Beauty Of Surfing At 1000fps

How do you make surfing on Oahu’s North Shore an even more stunning balance of grace and power? YouTuber Devin Graham did it by capturing boards and bodies in motion at 1000fps with an 800mm lens on a Canon 7D. Can someone go back in time and reshoot Point Break like this? Please? Canon 7Ds don’t shoot at 1,000 fps.
if he’s used shot at 30fps and used Twixtor, it’s some of the best i’ve seen.

ah, just read his technical notes on the youtube video.
only shot at 720p therefore able to shoot 60fps and just used some stock standard plug ins to ramp it in post. turned out well, good job.

Meh? Part of the thrill of surfing is the speed of it. Slowing it down kinda makes it boring if you ask me. Oh, sorry, nobody asked me.
