OS X Lion Has An Interactive iTunes Screensaver

According to those on Reddit (and Macgasm), OS X Lion has an interactive screensaver feature that allows you to play tracks it throws up on the screen from iTunes. Think of it like visual shuffle. [Reddit via MacGasm via TheNextWeb]

This is a screen saver in the operating system, it’s not the media player.

OS X has had this screen saver for years (it’s old). What they have done new in Lion is allow you to click on the album cover to play or pause the track within the screen saver.

Is there a way to disable the new iTunes screensaver? i much prefer the old one. I often accidentally click an album as i try to wake my computer.
