Robert Stevens captured a gas main explosion on his iPhone 4, edited it with iMovie on his iPad 2 and uploaded it to iReport. CNN and MSNBC picked up the footage after that. Score for citizen journalism. [YouTube via SlashGear]
Talk about apple fanboyism. That’s just sad. Iphone 4 and Ipad 2? Do these people let the soil settle in the technology industry? Or do they just splurge at the sound of a new iphone or any product for that matter!
I bought an xbox 360 on release as my first every “release-purchase”. Worst decision as you can probably guess i’ve been through a few xboxes. Had i waited, i probably would’ve been better off!

but no, its good to see that the ipad 2 is reaching levels of functionality matching the lofty heights of a 90s laptop…
I’m curious how he transfered the file between his iphone and ipad?
can I do that via blutooth?
I get the sinking feeling it required two expensive 3G connections…
