How To Safeguard Your Computer At A Coffee Shop

So you’re doing some work on your computer at a coffee shop and you realise you need to use the bathroom. You don’t want to leave your lifeline unattended, but you don’t want to give up your seat either. Asking the stranger next to you to keep an eye on things seems like a hassle and toting a lock seems too logical. So what do you do? You get our own Sam Biddle to babysit your laptop for you using Facetime. He’s available on weekends, and on weeknights between 5-10pm, provided he’s finished his homework.

… and then someone walks up to the laptop from behind, closes the lid and walks off with it.

    Sam saw nothing.

Brings to mind the short image of someone lugging a laptop down the road with profanity and screams of ‘Put me back!’ spewing forth from the speakers.
