Please God, if you exist, wherever you are, have mercy and let this be a Photoshop. Thank you. [Thanks Karl!]

Meh, Back to Future was cool and all, but the DMC-12 really was a crap car. Under powered, under performing, over priced, and poorly built. Unfortunately what had the potential to be a great car became a flop due to financial limitations and mismanagement, and compromises made to ensure the production was even started in the first place.

Honestly, who gives a toss? If it weren’t for the (probably greatest ever made) trilogy, no-one would drive one. As Sam said… they were crap cars.

As for the Tucker…. that’s a diff story. Car that shoulda been that wasn’t.

P.S. If that’s a photoshop, hook me up with the creator. It’d be a phenominal achievement, and I’d make them my God.

This is Arnie Brandon’s car. Arnie is the President of the Pacific Northwest DeLorean Club (PNDC) in Seattle, WA. The trailer was made from parts … not a car … because there are *tons* of spare DeLorean parts around. In fact, at the time of bankruptcy, there were 10,000 unassembled DeLoreans cued up to build. Those parts were purchased in 1997 by DMC Houston, and the company was re-started in 1998.

Was just about to write the same thing. I remember seeing a mag article with pictures of row after row of spares. Just checked and they are acually assembling new cars from NOS parts and new repro parts. http://www.delorean.com/index-5.html
