A Shotgun Hidden Inside A Guitar

When the Swedish police raided the home of a 54-year-old illegal weapons dealer, they scored quite a load. Aside from the more “conventional” firearms like sawed-off shotguns and homemade machine guns, the police also found a double-barrel shotgun hidden inside a guitar.

The neck of the guitar has been hollowed out and equipped with two shotgun barrels, while the body of the string instrument contained the beginnings of trigger mechanism.

The man said the guitar gun was “a fun thing that was not finished” but failed to mention if he drew any inspiration from Desperado. Though to be fair, his guitar gun with string trigger would have definitely one upped a firing guitar case. [The Local via Reddit via Neatorama]

This guitar may have been great for playing at rowdy pubs, but how was the sustain?

I can’t remember the song, but there was a video clip that had the band holding up a bank using guitars as guns…(holding the guitars in gun style, “shooting” from the hip)

For extra awesome, the Whammy Bar should be the eject/reload arm! (as per the shotgun in T2)
