Findyourfacemate.com is a new dating site that tries to hook up people who look alike. Seriously! It uses facial-recognition technology (from Face.com) that tracks nine points on each user’s face-eyes, ears, nose, chin, and corners and centre of the mouth-to find their match. The site is the brainchild of Christina Bloom, who looked like her ex-husband and has sort of become obsessed with the idea of finding ‘facemates’ for other people.
I don’t know about you but the girls I’ve dated don’t look like me at all. But maybe that’s why I’m not dating them anymore! Still though, do you know who does look like me? My sister. Not cool. Dating someone who looks like you has to be a little incestuous, or at the very least, masturbatory, right? [NY Mag]

What is more – it has been launched for awhile already and it works perfectly.
