You Can Buy An Over-The-Counter Paternity Test In New York

I’m sure other places have this already (ahem, the South) but Duane Reade, a pharmacy in New York, has just started selling an over-the-counter paternity test.

30 bucks for the test (really around $US300 after lab fees, but that’s much cheaper than before), five days of your time, and you’ll be able to find out if you’re the father of the kid in question, no Maury Povich required. Hilariously, the box says the test is even court admissible. [NY Daily News]
