Windows Version Of Greenpois0n Now Available For iOS 4.2.1, Allows For Untethered Jailbreak

Recently an updated version of the the Greenpois0n tool became available for Mac users and allowed for untethered jailbreaking of iOS 4.2.1 devices. Now Windows users are finally able to get in on the fun as well.

As Engadget points out, the official Greenpois0n website is not able to keep up with the volume of happy Windows users at the moment, so here’s a download mirror link that’s a bit more likely to work right now. [Greenpois0n via MagGadget via Engadget]

    New GreenPios0n works great.
But be warned, themes need to have some files modified for icons to skin properly. Apple has renamed a few of there icons and folders.

It works fine, as others will attest.

I think what you mean is it doesn’t work for you. Perhaps a bug report or maybe asking for help might be a productive step forward?

On second thoughts, forget it – lets just accept jailbreaking isn’t for you….

Works perfectly on my iPod Touch 2G MC model with iOS 4.2.1. Worked first time, no questions asked. Thanks Chronic Devs!
