I have a sad confession to make – I missed Tron: Legacy at the cinema. But it was a conscious choice! I wanted to watch the original in HD before seeing the sequel. And it looks like I’ll be able to do that soon, with The Digital Bits has a heap of leaked box artwork that indicates the two films will be released in unison on Blu-ray!
There’s a wide range of versions coming, but the boxset looks to be the killer – with 3D Blu-ray, regular Blu-ray, DVD and Digital copy, plus collectible packaging in the shape of an identity disc… Disney can’t release this soon enough! Here’s hoping official details are announced soon.

I realy loved the original and was quite sceptical about a remake given recent modern efforts in that direction (The Importance of Being Ernest was attrociously poorly acted and directed when you’ve seen the original). However, I was pleasantly surprised and liked to sequel almost as much as the original. Top marks to the producers. I’m sure you’ll like too. :-)
