The $US50 case went through a myriad of tests for drop damage, vibration, extreme temperatures, humidity and dust to gain certification. It also has connector seals, water-resistant meshes and tough lenses to make sure that dust, dirt and other harmful materials don’t damage your phone.
The cases are available for both iPhone 4s, some Blackberry Curve models and the HTC Evo. [Ballistic]

Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 9:01 PMSaw this case at CES and a demo, worked very well.
The phone lands on an edge due to the way the case is made. The edge absorbs the shock.
If you are determined you can still break your iphone.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 9:28 PMTwo problems with belt-clip cases:
1. You look like a dag, which might not be a concern if you are clipping it to the strap of your sniper rifle.
2. For the rest of us, when you sit down in a boardroom chair that has arms, the phone catches on the arm and the clip snaps off.
Other than that, looks cool.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:57 PMIf you RTFM : http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0044/5962/files/BallisticInstructions.jpg it shows that the Clip is part of the Holster and is removable (you can use it with or without it)
….Besides it looks like the “boardroom chair” arm would come off before the case would break!
I want.

But really, a single iPhone case demanded its own article?
