This Animated Video Simplifies Einstein’s Complicated Twin Paradox

Einstein’s Twin Paradox is super confusing for me, every time I think I fully understand it, I find more questions. The Twin Paradox is a thought experiment in special relativity when one twin travels to outer space while the other twin stays on Earth.

When the space bound twin lands back on Earth, he’ll find that his Earthbound twin has aged much more than he has. Why is that? Watch this video to find out the simple explanation with animated cartoons.

Nice vid explaining time dilation.. though I’ve never really understood how the story qualifies as a paradox, since it is resolved by relativity.

I’ve never understood how its a paradox either. One is older than the other through time dilation… where’s the paradox?

Oh, thats a very simplistic way of putting it.

Oh who am I kidding. What the hell was he talking about. I saw no Capt. Carter and Gould motherships so your going to have to dumb it down a little more for me to follow.
