The Latest, Greatest Android Gingerbread Lets You Share With A Tap

The latest batch of Android Gingerbread to come out of the Google test kitchen beefs up the NFC chip found in some handsets (notably the Nexus S), allowing it to work with Bluetooth. Which means to phones can share and transfer info just by tapping, instead of fussing with more intimate manual pairing. [MobiSocial News via Engadget]

    Any credit to webOS for showing this in action first? Guess they’re not important enough. If it was Apple, you can be sure it’d be talked about. ‘Copy!’ they’d cry.
