In late March, Android users running 2.1 and above, who also happen to own a Sonos set-up, will be able to control their various zones using their phone or tablet. In a new twist, the device’s volume buttons will be able to adjust the Sonos volume, unlike the iOS app which requires a finger-smudging sliiiiide on the screen.
I had a quick trial of the app at MWC ShowStoppers, and can say it works pretty seamlessly—and also ties up with the various Sonos services you may use, such as Spotify (if you’re in Europe, anyway).
