The white version is all but confirmed to be launching within the next few weeks, but it still has to be comforting to white iPhone lovers to see the big box chains confirming it even more with their placeholders and shelf info cards.
Though, I have to ask…are white iPhone 4 holdouts still jazzed about this smartphone? Still holding out hope that it will launch and satiate all their white iPhone 4 hopes and dreams? [Best Buy (link broken) via Engadget]

GST for a start (do US consumers pay any import taxes?), and economies of scale in distribution and sales with a much smaller population (also there might be some poor guy on minimum wage involved and those are VASTLY different between the two countries). An element of greed could be there too. But yes, it sucks balls!
