You’ll need to click through to the YouTube page and fullscreen the clip or pop out the player to get the full 1080p experience, but once you do the picture quality produced by the Optimus 2X is surprisingly good. Even from a phone sensor, I’ve seen 720p clips with far more detail and a much more vivid pleasing picture. YouTube re-compression does crush a lot of detail though, so hopefully that’s the primary reason this looks so bad.
