Now, here’s a story that makes me happy. European airline Spanair decided to surprise 190 passengers flying on December 24 from Barcelona to Las Palmas – in the Canary Islands – with Christmas presents. And not just stupid little gifts. Real presents.
When the passengers went to pick up their suitcases in Las Palmas, they watched in amazement as wrapped boxes start coming out through the luggage belt. One hundred and ninety of them, each of them different, with an individual tag name and personalised for their age and sex.
I know, I know, it’s good marketing to go viral, but still, I wish all companies had random good ideas like this from time to time. [Flight Global]
