This 1930s Shanghai Townhouse Has A Secret

This exterior of this 1930s era townhouse in Shanghai isn’t anything you’d think twice about. The inside, however, which has sliding wall partitions, a double height living room and a bamboo courtyard, is decidedly less historic. [MocoLoco]

Sorry, but did I miss Gizmodo becoming a real estate web site?

It’s a great house for sure, but why is it featured on Gizmodo?

    Slow news day?

I personally love the way Giz goes off topic and looks at architecture, art and design outside of the world of gadgets, it makes Giz for me a much more rewarding read then some of the other tech sites I frequent. Plus it also means my wife reads Giz too, which can only be a good thing
