We found a note written on our bathroom wall when we renovated it in 2005, it was a note of the previous owner explaining that he renovated the bathroom in 1977 and other parts of the house. We added our own notes underneath it explaining what we had done so far as well. Makes you warm inside to think someone will find the joy you did another 30 years down the track!
The light switch certainly seems like it’s the easiest to find :D
