Optus Now Has A Terabyte Plan Too

Gizmodo AU

You may have thought that the terabyte bandwagon had been and gone a couple of months ago, but Optus has caught up to it just before Christmas and finally jumped on board.

For Optus’ Fusion 129 plan, customers will get a terabyte of data, plus unlimited standard local and national calls to fixed lines and Australian mobiles for $129. Fusion 99 and Fusion 109 customers will get a data boost to 500GB for $99 and $109. There’s also a boost to the standard and naked broadband plans up to 500GB for $70 and $80 respectively.

It’s good to see more and more ISPs adding more and more data to their plans, isn’t it?

Standard broadband plan: “500MB for $70″. Surely that has to be a typo?

24 month contracts?!? They must be trying to lock in as many customers as possible before the NBN rolls past.

And here i am still stuck on 25GB on Telstra, who have made no improvements to their plans!!! All they have done in the last (almost!) 2 years is made bigger plans available, but at a cost.

I don’t know what the fuss is all about.
I’ve been on a TPG Unlimited plan for $59.99 for 6 months now and somehow people think 1TB is great?
    Pfft.

Boring for those on the $59 150GB home phone and data combo plan such as myself. Because we didn’t get upgraded!
