Cops Use A Bouncy Castle To Help Prevent A Suicide

When negotiations with a potential jumper went downhill last night in Swansea, police did the only logical thing: call in an inflatable castle from Bop And Bounce to break his fall. Seriously.

If it sounds like something out of a sitcom, that’s because it is! Happened on The Office. This time, though, no one was playing for comedic effect—I think.

Fortunately, after a seven hour standoff, the cops were finally able to convince the 64-year old man to come down from his perch via the stairs, not the sky, and he was quickly escorted to the local hospital. The castle was deflated, presumably after all involved got in a quick victory bounce. [Daily Mail]
